On TikTok, former TV host Nadia Essex explained how she caught her boyfriend cheating after FitBit sent her a notification that he’d burned 500 calories between 2 and 3 am. (1)
Woman Caught Boyfriend Cheating From An Odd FitBit Notification

Recently on TikTok, a user posted a video asking other users to explain the moment they knew that their relationship was over. Essex responded, explaining that she had “a real doozy.” (1)
She first began by explaining that one night her ex had gone for a night out with friends that she didn’t attend. She woke up the next morning to make him a nice breakfast when she got a strange notification from his Fitbit congratulating him for burning 500 calories already that day. The notification had come in between 2 and 3 in the morning. (1)
Was her boyfriend caught cheating? Perhaps, and needless to say, to Essex it this is highly suspicious, so she “shoved that breakfast where the sun don’t shine.” (1)
Couldn’t He Have Been Dancing?
Essex never states in the video how she breached the subject with the man. We presume that they had a conversation in which the truth came out. Most of the comments were people saying that this was both the best and worst story they’d ever heard. One commenter did suggest the possibility of a dance-floor related calorie-burn. (1)
“I was about to say he could have been dancing in a club but if you knew what he was really doing…” they wrote. (1)
Essex replied with the laugh-crying emoji and said:
“He wishes that was what is was.” (1)
Needless to say, the relationship ended rather abruptly. (1) Was her boyfriend officially caught cheating? Most likely, but the jury is out.

Nadia Essex is a former British TV host and “dating guru” who became famous in the UK for her work on the show Celebs Go Dating. The producers removed the mother of one in 2018 after they caught her brutally harassing her former co-star Eden Blackman online. Having harassed him to the brink of suicide, she has now signed a harassment order that, if broken, she will face either a fine or jail time. (2)
