Since the images were released in a Daily Mail Online exclusive X/Twitter has lit up. People seem to have strong opinions about Meghan’s outing. One person wondered, “Why’s she doing this when Harry’s not around?” Another said, “So predictable. Sad.” Someone else commented, “She’s grinning like crazy to cover up the fact that King Charles barely had 30 minutes for Harry. Some reports say it was even less… that’s pretty embarrassing. Actions have consequences!” Another person questioned, “She’s happy Charles is sick?” And someone else suggested, “Meghan, this is embarrassing. Now we see why Harry went! Just for PR!”

But not everyone was that negative
Some comments focused on Prince Harry visiting his dad, while others defended Meghan. One person asked, “Should she be mourning while the King’s still alive? Nah!” Another said, “Harry did the right thing seeing his dad after the cancer diagnosis. He’s a good son.”
Reports say Prince Harry is on his way back home from London. According to a news source, he spent 24 hours in the UK, landing after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, and then spending 45 minutes with his father. Though there’s been tension in Prince Harry’s family since he moved to the US and stepped down from royal duties, he rushed back to be with his dad. Meanwhile, Meghan stayed in California with their kids.
According to the King’s former butler, Meghan decided to stay back, thinking that being by King Charles’ side was something Harry had to do alone. Royal experts think Meghan might visit her father-in-law soon, but for now, she’s focused on taking care of their children.
Meghan has spoken positively about Harry’s dad in the past, especially his role in their wedding. In a Netflix documentary, she mentioned how important it was for King Charles to walk her down the aisle, given her own father’s absence due to health issues and scandals.

Diagnosed with cancer, Meghan Markle’s father in law may be the key piece
Despite recent tensions, King Charles III’s illness could be a catalyst for the royal family to reunite, especially with Harry’s decision to step back and move to another country. As for the health updates, King Charles III was recently diagnosed with cancer after a procedure for an enlarged prostate. He’s begun treatment and aims to return to full duties soon, with the public showing support and well wishes.
“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time doctors have advised him to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue undertaking State business and official paperwork as usual.” The Royal Family announced on Instagram.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible. His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.” They closed in a statement.
