Alec Baldwin has become very famous for his acting career. Particularly for his role on the TV show, 30 Rock. Alec has been married to his wife, Hilaria Baldwin for 10 years now, and they have 8 children. Many people have wondered why they keep having more children. Baldwin has decided to give his reasons. 

Alec Baldwin is soon to be a father of seven 

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin got married in 2012. Together they share five of Alec’s children. They have recently announced that they will be welcoming their 6th child into their already large family. Alec has one child with his ex, Kim Basinger. Her name is Ireland Baldwin, and she is now 26 years old. You might recognize her from her modeling career. 

Alec’s five other children are all shared with his current wife, Hilaria. Alec is 64 years old, and he is expecting his seventh child with Hilary, and his eighth child altogether. His other children are all no older than 10. His first child with Hilary is Carmen Gabrielle who is eight years old. Then there is Rafael Thomas, who is six. After that, Hilaria and Alec had Leonardo Angel Charles who is five, and then Romeo Alejandro David who is 3. Lastly, they had a set of fraternal twins, Eduardo and Lucia, who only just turned one. Now, the family is eagerly awaiting the arrival of yet another sibling. The soon-to-be bundle of joy is reportedly going to be a girl.

There have been many eyebrows raised by the public over Alec’s choice to continue procreating

Where most families have one, two, or even three families, Alec has eight. The curiosities of many are met with other celebrities who also have large families. None other than Elon Musk has 10 children with various mothers. He often speaks about his love for large families and has recently become the father of a set of twins. 

Alec Baldwin gives his reasons

In a recent post on Instagram, we can catch a glimpse at family life with the Baldwins. The video post is of the twins enjoying a tasty milk snack and they’re having a great time with their mother, Hilaria. Alec made this caption for the clip: “People comment about how many children we have and ask why. This is why. The thing in this life that matters most to me are these people.”

The caption for the post encapsulates Baldwin’s love for his family. People interviewed the Saturday Night Live star. They wanted to find out why he preferred to have a large family. The world also seemed to want to know if he had plans on making any more.  The interviewer wanted to know how he thinks the big family life has benefited all of his children. He said that it was how they learned to love each new sibling as they do the last. He says loves the fact that love is limitless. 

“One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling,” said Alec and Hilaria during the interview. “Our capacity to love continues to expand, and we can’t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!” In June Hilaria shared an update on Instagram revealing a recent ultrasound. Many people have a lot to say

There have been a few questions raised about Alec’s choice for a large family. To that, Alec answered by captioning a video on Instagram. The caption read:

 “People ask why. This is why. Being a parent is the ultimate journey.”

Twitter posts have been targeting Alec Baldwin for quite some time. “Do these people not consider the environmental issues of having such large families?” one person commented on a post about his current seven children. Another comment read: “It’s not always the middle class or poor….. Alec Baldwin (actor) is preparing to have his SEVENTH child!!! And Elon Musk has SIX. WTF is going on here?”
