Meet The “Love Baby”: Precious Little Boy Who Was Born With A Heart-Shaped Birthmark On His Forehead

Murat and Ceyda Engin were shocked when his baby boy, Çinar, was born. It was 2017, in Ankara, Turkey, and the infant was born with a heart-shaped birthmark on his forehead.

We love him and his birthmark,” said his father. “After a nurse cleaned the bloods on his head I was the first who see the birthmark on his head. I was really surprised. When I came to close his head I realised that it was an amazing heart. It was difficult for me to keep my tears. The nurse screamed like ‘Oh my goodness, unbelievable, he is a love baby’. Then three others came and got some selfies.[1]

Çinar recently celebrated his sixth birthday– and yes, he still has the heart-shaped birthmark on his forehead. He still bears the nickname “Love Baby,” which the nurses had dubbed him by his birth. Even they couldn’t help but take selfies with the infant. According to his father, no one else in their family got the same mark, but they take it as a sign of good luck.

More About Birthmarks

Birthmarks appear immediately or during a baby’s first few weeks of life. They can appear anywhere on the body and they can have different colors, shapes, and sizes. Some fade over time but some are permanent, like in the case of Çinar. Most of these marks are harmless but some people choose to remove them for cosmetic reasons.

There’s a myth that these marks are caused by food cravings during pregnancy that don’t get satisfied. But the real reason for birthmarks is unknown. However, some are genetic or caused by gene mutations.

There are two main types of birthmarks. One is called a vascular birthmark and it occurs when blood vessels aren’t properly formed. For instance, the blood vessels could become too clustered together or wider than normal. The second is called pigmented birthmarks and they are caused by an increased amount of pigment cells in one part of the skin. Pediatricians can help access birthmarks for growth or determine if they require medical treatment. [3]

The Meaning Behind Birthmarks

Some spiritual experts speculate about the meaning of birthmarks depending on their placement. For instance, they believe that a birthmark on the forehead symbolizes someone of great intelligence and understanding. It can also imply a person who is creative and loves life. Birthmarks on the arm indicate strength and determination in choosing their own destiny. Some psychic healers also interpret birthmarks to be signs from the person’s past life, such as a shoulder mark indicating a backstabbing and a leg mark means they need to learn how to become more independent. “We can heal the emotion and the underlying results of this lifetime,” explains intuitive healer and mystic Andrea Moyah Trucilla. “They can act as clues and guides to healing on a deep soul level.[4]
