A teacher will be serving prison time after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a child. Deonte Taylor, the 39-year-old ex-teacher, committed three acts of sodomy against a 7-year-old student. The teacher also exposed the student to a high risk of HIV.
The investigators of St. Louis County also found the DNA on the boy. According to the documents present in court, Taylor also had a severe criminal charge previously – conspiring to murder. A witness informed the investigators that Taylor had offered John White a sum of $20,000 to kill the child victim as well as his mother.

Teacher Persecuted For Sexually Assaulting A Minor
Wesley Bell, the Prosecuting Attorney for St. Louis County stated:
“At every stage of this case there were many individuals involved in bringing this case to justice and also keeping these victims safe- not only in our office and law enforcement, but also concerned citizens. These were despicable acts committed against an innocent child who was placed in this predator’s care, followed by the cowardly and cruel effort to have the victim and his mother killed. Now that this predator stands convicted of all charges, I hope the victim and this family find closure and healing.”
The teacher will be serving 50 years in prison, as reported in court documents.
