Vivica A. Fox Unloads On Jada Pinkett Smith For ‘No Accountability’ In Slap

A few months ago, Will Smith made the headlines for slapping Chris Rock across the face during the 2022 Oscars. His reason was to come to the defense of his wife, Jada Pinkett because Rock had passed a joke about her shaved head. Vivica Fox stated that Jada showed “no accountability,” for her husband’s actions.

Smith Slapped Rock

For those that don’t remember, Chris Rock was on stage doing what he does best as a comedian. One of his jokes crossed a line for Will Smith when Rock referred to Jada Pinkett’s shaved head, saying: “Jada, I love you. ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it.”  It is unclear whether or not Rock knew that Jada has alopecia or not, even though he has spoken publicly about it. Will Smith was put on probation from the academy and ultimately banned for 10 years from the ceremony.

Jada appeared on last Wednesday’s Red Table Talk where she expressed her wish for the two men to reconcile. She also wishes to use the whole event as an opportunity to bring awareness to the sufferings of those who share the alopecia disorder.

Considering what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories,” said Jada. She also stated that she wanted to use “this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to have this condition”

One of the people she wishes to raise awareness for on behalf of them was a young girl called Rio Allred. She also had alopecia and was bullied terribly for her hair. She ended up committing suicide to avoid the bullying. Her mother was in the audience watching the Red Table Talk show.

Jada Wants Smith & Rock to Reconcile

“Now, about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile,” Pinkett Smith said on “Red Table Talk” this week. “The state of the world today, we need them both, and we all actually need one another more than ever.”

She then added: “Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together.”

Vivica A. Fox calls Jada’s Reaction “cold

As a response to Jada’s words on the Red Table Table TALK show, Vivica A. Fox said on the “Wendy Williams Show,” that her response was “self-righteous,” and “cold.”

She went on to explain her opinions. “Will Smith was defending her honor, that’s the reason he walked on stage and slapped because he felt like his wife had been offended,” said Vivica. She then mentioned that Jada showed “no accountability” for her husband’s actions.

“Also,” Vivica added.” Let’s not forget, Chris Rock was assaulted. We cannot forget that for basically telling a joke that I really felt wasn’t that bad.”

Vivica. A. Fox had co-starred with Will Smith for the 1996 “Independence Day.” She played the role of his wife in the alien invasion-themed movie and claimed to have a relationship with the family other than a professional interaction on screen. She said that she and Jada, “set it off,” when they first met.

“I have love for the Smiths,” said Vivico.” I know their children. I’ve watched them grow up. I just wish we could have had just a little more accountability and for it to not seem so seem so self-righteous on Jada’s part, and that’s my feelings.”
