‘If My Wife Lets Herself Go After Having Kids, I’m Going To Tell Her Once’

A husband will never realize the pains his wife is taking to give birth. It’s normal and healthy for a woman to gain weight during pregnancy, and for some, it will still be there afterward. Many wish to lose it and struggle. This is a period in their life many men just don’t understand. But just like everyone’s lives, our bodies go through changes, we are no longer that youthful person we once were, but someone more mature and wise.

But what happens when you have a husband who is shallow? Someone who would force you to get back into shape- irrespective of the problems you are going through? This is the story of such a husband whose wedding vows suddenly didn’t matter anymore.

Should You Leave Your Wife If She Gains Weight Post Child-birth? HE** NO!

The story came about in The No Filter Podcast this month. Said to be the bluntest podcast in the world, this has been the brainchild of three NFL players. The trio- Nick Casasanta, Anthony Casasanta, and Jason Giarratano have been hosting the podcast since February and may not be doing a public service with that. Several of their listeners have already asked them to change the name of their title. As it stands, the trio recently went on TikTok to promote their podcast. Soon, they started discussing how each in the trio would treat his wife after she gives birth to a child.

The podcast was titled ‘Is This Too Much?’- and well, if someone really asks this, chances are, it is. Anthony went on to say this to the other podcasters,

'No Filter Pod': Man says if his wife lets herself go after childbirth, he'll leave

If my wife lets herself go after I have kids with her, I’m going to tell her once. If you don’t get your sh*t together… I still want to be sexually attracted to my wife, my spouse, but if you can’t do that, I’m out.”

Needless to say, such an insensitive and misogynist comment did receive massive backlash immediately. So much, that the podcasters had to turn their comments off. While the comments were off, it didn’t stop people from saying their thoughts about this. Here’s the clip:

Three Incels Had A Podcast… Guess What Happened?

One of the listeners commented- “You just know all three are single, and all three have been rejected so much that they turn to misogyny.

While another user added, “Good luck getting a wife, my dude. No woman wants someone who makes them feel insecure.

This wasn’t all as another user chimed in with, “Their fathers did a terrible job at raising them.

The listeners of the podcast used a variety of words to describe them- starting from sad, ending at cowardly. And well, if someone tries to make their wife insecure over such a trivial thing, some might say they deserve what’s coming.

What’s quite interesting is that the trio has refused to apologize for their insensitive comments. Usually, one can forgive someone for their comments if they are earnest in their apology. But the podcasters don’t seem to be guilty at all.

When News.com.au reached for a comment, the podcasters doubled down on what they said and claimed that their words had been taken out of context. The statement read,

We really feel as the video was taken out of context. We will not be apologizing. We just don’t want our wives to be obese. We feel as if society promotes obesity which is a very unhealthy and uncomfortable way of living.

What NOT to do if you are trying to help your wife heal

This hollow attempt at saving face doesn’t really work, does it? If a man can shame his wife over something this natural, there are no limits to what he can or can’t do. Regardless, they also stated that “We promote healthy lifestyles here at NoFilterPod. It’s also not only about weight gain after childbirth, it’s also about mental health as well as physical health. We feel like it’s very important to hold spouses both men and women to a high standard.”

Here’s a clip where they talk about how “fitness chicks” are the best choice:

While we agree it’s good to look after your physical and mental health, your partner still needs to feel supported. And, if we are being absolutely frank, do they really think that the best way to ensure one’s mental and physical health was by threatening to leave if they gained weight? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
