It acts as a reminder of your union
Looking down at your hand and seeing the wedding rings your partner slipped on your finger is a reminder of your love, your relationship, your marriage. Every choice you make impacts your husband or wife, and seeing that ring on your finger each day, will act as a reminder of that.
Wedding rings show your respect for your partner
The entire point of putting a ring on someone’s finger is about love and respect, and what worse way to disrespect your spouse than by not wearing the very ring they put on your finger?
Wearing your ring shows you are faithful
Yes, we know. People still cheat, wedding ring or not. But, the chance that you or your spouse are cheating if they don’t wear their wedding rings is much higher. If you have kids, you want them to see your love for their father/mother. Wearing your wedding rings shows your commitment to one another, and helps promote healthy marriage. One that your children should strive for one day, too. Just like not fighting in front of your precious babies should be important, showing how much your love your spouse should be right up there.

You have absolutely no reason NOT to wear your ring. Metal allergy? Talk to your husband or wife and get a new band in the metal you can tolerate? Not too happy with what it looks like? Be honest, and have it remade to suit your tastes. Any other reason you can think of? There is a reason why you can make it work and wear it.
