Scary Viral Video Shows Nick Jonas Sprinting Off Stage After Laser Was Pointed at His Head

Nick Jonas and his brothers have been on a rescheduled European tour since September 9th, and everything went well until earlier this week. 

Nick Jonas Goes On Tour

The Jonas Brothers have been popular among teen girls for over a decade. They captured hearts in their Disney Records debut self-titled album and have since continued to release music and captivate audiences. Most recently, Nick Jonas has been on the Jonas Brothers World Tour alongside his brothers in Europe. 

A Laser Causes a Commotion

Earlier this week, the heartthrobs were performing in Prague, Czech Republic, and Nick Jonas was captured in a video running off stage. The star is seen sitting in a chair on stage, relaxing before the performance, when a laser purportedly appears on his head. Afterward, he exits the stage quickly, signaling to his security team. 

According to sources, the laser pointer was “prohibited,” which likely sparked concern. The video has now gone viral with over 1 million views as concerned fans speculate about what happened, calling the events “unsettling and scary.”  Meanwhile, Nick Jonas has yet to comment. 

Nick Jonas’ Representative Comments

However, a representative for Nick Jonas and his brothers released a statement:

“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer,” they said. “The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”

Nick Jonas and His Stunning Wife

The events are particularly unnerving because Nick Jonas has a little one at home. He and his stunning wife, Priyanka Chopra, welcomed their first and only child to date on January 15th, 2022, through a surrogate. While the 32-year-old has a relatively extensive and closely followed relationship history, he and Priyanka have been married since 2018. Their relationship began in 2017, but  Nick Jonas recalled writing to Priyanka that “mutual friends” suggested the pair meet in 2016. 

Nick Jonas Created a Loving Family

The pair keeps their daughter out of the spotlight when possible. However, they happily dot on each other as a family while out and about and on social media. Earlier this year, Nick Jonas praised his wife on Instagram, dedicating a Mother’s Day post, in which he credits her with being the “most amazing mom ever.” 

“You are so full of love and thoughtfulness with our daughter @priyankachopra you are such an inspiration in every way,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, having a daughter profoundly impacted the person Nick Jonas aims to be. “I think that, for me, becoming a parent changed everything in my life and my perspective on everything. That’s a natural thing obviously that will happen,” He said. “My daughter is the light of my world, and making projects that I’ll be able to watch one day with her, absolutely a goal.”

Early Days

Prior to fame, fortune, a knockout wife, and becoming a father, Nick Jonas was born in Dallas, Texas. He grew up alongside his brothers, Joe and Kevin, in New Jersey. Purportedly, the musical siblings have an older sister and a younger brother. Their mother was a teacher, and their father, who was a singer, shared their love of performing. The family presents a wholesome vibe, and all three musicians have been vocal about their faith, crediting God for their incredible journey.

Fulfilling Plans for a Rescheduled Tour

When the musicians rescheduled their tour, which was set to start in May, and has been deemed their “most ambitious” tour, scheduled to perform around 100 shows. However, fans were not happy when the musicians announced plans to reschedule the tour for later in the year. Some noted people were traveling from other countries to see them, so the rescheduling was a massive inconvenience. “I love the Jonas brothers but the way they and their team are doing things is not okay,” one fan wrote on X.  

As such, fans were thrilled as Nick Jonas and his brothers kicked off their tour, starting in South America. Fortunately, this laser mishap hasn’t derailed the musicians, and they’re on track to tour Europe, as planned. 

Preventing Burnout

While the musical siblings set off on their ambitious tour plans, Joe Jonas discloses they have plans to prevent burnout. “We’ve been burnt out before and then you’re like, ‘I still got 20 more shows on this tour,” he said. “So we all have our own perspective ways of going about that, and we just make sure that that’s prioritized and also that we think the three of us are communicating as best as we can.”

Additionally, he highlights that their fans help with the process. He explained that singing “doesn’t feel like work” when they perform live. 

 “We’re treating this like the best tour we’ve ever done,” he said. “And I think we intend to make it that experience for fans as well.”

Nick Jonas and his brothers have a huge project ahead of them. Hopefully, they will not face any more unexpected roadblocks so that people everywhere can enjoy their rescheduled performances.
