Christian Bale is a talented actor and heartthrob for many. However, he’s also a seemingly huge-hearted person with a desire to make a bright impact on the world. He recently unveiled plans to create a “community” for foster children in California, which is targeted to be finished by 2025.
Christian Bale Finds Inspiration
Christian Bale, known for his looks and versatile acting abilities, has recently made headlines for pursuing a worthy cause. In 2005, after the birth of his first child, daughter, Emmeline, he was “stunned and mad” to learn of how many children are in the foster care system. Moreover, it was disturbing to him how many children are separated from their siblings. “Imagine the absolute pain and the trauma of losing your parents or being torn from your parents,” Bale explained. ” Then losing your brothers and sisters on top of that, that’s no way to treat kids.” As a result, he was inspired to do something incredible.
Christian Bale is the co-founder of Together California. An organization intended to help children in the foster care system be looked after by “professionally trained” foster parents. Another aspect of the organization’s mission is to support children and birth parents, provide counseling, and reunite families when possible.

Unveiling Plans
Recently, Christian Bale presented the blueprints for the plans at an event in Antelope Valley. He was accompanied by his wife Sibi Blazic, and a group of elected officials and supporters of the project. In contrast to the organization, which focuses on numerous aspects of supporting the foster care community, this project’s main goal is to keep foster siblings together. The roughly $22 million project is being overseen by Bale’s co-founder UCLA’s Dr. Eric Esrailian and executive director Tim McCormick. It will be a 7,000 square foot community designed to “keep siblings under one roof”. Located in Palmdale, California, the plans also include a couple of apartments. These are intended to give foster children the opportunity to easily “transition into independent living.”
