7. Brighten Up Dingy Grout

Grout has a way of collecting grime that makes your whole bathroom or kitchen look a little… tired. The good news? OxiClean is amazing at cutting through that build-up. Mix a scoop of OxiClean with warm water to form a paste. Then grab a toothbrush or small scrub brush and start scrubbing your grout lines. Let it sit for about 10–15 minutes before rinsing with clean water. The results are often instant — a cleaner, brighter surface without needing to regrout. This works especially well on white or light-colored grout that’s picked up mildew or soap scum. It’s cheaper and less toxic than bleach, but just as effective. Just make sure to test on a small spot first to avoid any surprises.
