People who are truly nice don’t feel the need to trash-talk others. But one of the big signs someone is fake is nonstop gossiping. They might tell you about all the drama in someone else’s life, pretending it’s just harmless talk. But if they’re spilling secrets about others, they’re probably doing the same to you when you’re not around. Fake people use gossip to bond or gain attention. It can feel like you’re getting close, but really, it’s built on tearing others down. These conversations often leave you feeling a bit icky afterward.
