OS or objectum-sexuality is a little-known sexual orientation that refers to individuals who experience emotional, romantic, and sexual feelings towards inanimate objects (e.g., an airplane, a statue, a doll, etc.). But this is not just about sexual orientation; this is about how a lonely woman met the “man” of her dreams and fell in love.
Of course, this is not your average love story where two people catch each other’s gaze at a bar and live happily ever after; this one is far more unique. Loneliness can be a terrible thing, and it was a genuine reality for 37-year-old Meirivone from Brazil.
Meirivone’s Mom to the rescue
After seeing how lonely her daughter was, Meirivone’s mother decided to make her a human-sized rag doll. Meirivone had been complaining about how lonely being single was and how she felt incredibly lonely at the Forro dance parties. “I would go to these dances but wouldn’t always find a partner,” Meirivone said.
She explained how she met her husband and now baby daddy, Marcelo, for the first time; “When mom made Marcelo and first introduced me to him, I fell in love with him.” It was truly love at first sight for Meirivone.
Marcelo and Meirivone immediately entered into a relationship, and a few months in, she fell “pregnant.” “Marcelo got me pregnant,” says Meirivone, “He didn’t take care of himself and didn’t use a condom.”
Following old-school beliefs
Meirivone believes one should be married before having a child and said she didn’t want to have a baby out of wedlock, so the mom-to-be decided to make it official and get married.
Meirivone described her wedding as an “emotional” yet “wonderful” day which they celebrated with 250 guests. The newlywed couple then jet-setted off to Rio de Janeiro for their week-long honeymoon before welcoming their first child.
On May 21st, Meirivone “gave birth” at home and said she had two nurses on call to help her through her “contractions.” She went on to explain how she gained weight during her “pregnancy” and that, “Seeing the placenta and the umbilical cord and the blood made it all real.” She was delighted to share that, “He was there in 35 minutes, and he is great!.”

Meirivone commented on her relationship with her new husband Marcelo, saying even though they are in love and overjoyed by the birth of their child, her relationship isn’t exactly perfect.
“He has so many great qualities, but the only downside is he’s lazy. He doesn’t work at all.” She went on to say how much she hates people criticizing her unusual family. “It really upsets me when people say this is fake. It makes me so angry. I am a woman of character.” “My father and mother taught me to be honest, to be a good person, and not want to take advantage of anything.”
The married life
Besides Marcelo not working, Meirivone says she has a beautiful marriage with him. “Married life with him is wonderful. He doesn’t fight with me, he doesn’t argue, and he just understands me.”
“Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man, and all women envy him.” But unfortunately, true love is hard to find, and when one does, we should only wish the lucky couple endless luck in love.
