Kids are loud, let’s face it. After being indoors with a screaming toddler, the best thing to do is take them outside and let them get rid of all that energy. For our sanity, at least! Now, imagine someone tried to stop you from letting your little one have his or her outdoor time? This terrible neighbor demands a woman only let her kid out for 15 minutes a day because her child is bothering him.
Neighbor leaves a note asking she only lets kid out for 15 minutes a day
Last year, a mom took to Twitter to share a note she had received from her neighbor. It was not the sort of note you might expect to receive from the people next door, whether a complaint or not. This note itself is quite something. In the end, the neighbor even threatens to call the police if she doesn’t comply.[1]
The disturbing note asked user @HinemanBobbie that she only lets her kid out for 15 minutes a day because her child laughter is bothering his or her animals.
The blunt letter had her pretty, shocked. And, us too! It read;
Dear ‘neighbor’, You moved to the neighborhood a year ago and I wanted to give you time to correct this problem on your own, but you are apparently too inconsiderate to do so.
Every day this week, when the weather has been nice and windows are open, you proceed to let your small child run free in your backyard and laugh and giggle and carry on without end.
This is very disruptive for my two dogs and my bird who sits next to the window and like to look in your yard.
Perhaps you could ask him to tone it down a bit, or at least limit his outside time to 15 – 20 minutes a day so my dogs can be outside without seeing him running around.
If this kind of behavior persists, I WILL CALL THE POLICE!

Now, I don’t know about you, but threatening to call the cops and demanding she only lets kid out for 15 minutes a day is a bit absurd. The rest of the internet obviously agreed.[2]
One commenter jokingly suggested; “I think you need to buy your child a horn”, user @HinemanBobbie responded, joking back; “I was thinking a drum set.”
Another, similar comment had us in stitches!
“Let that person call the police. They are going to look insane. Give your child large, loud musical instruments or pots and pans to bang!!!”
