Newborn Twins Sweetly ‘Talk’ to Each Other Just After Birth

We all need a feel-good story every day! And this is one of them. Meet the adorable newborn twins who have taken the internet by storm with their sweet and beautiful bond. We all know that twins have a special connection, but this is too precious for words!

The connection between twins is something extraordinary. And even though in the viral video that follows, we all know 1-hour-old babies can’t possibly be having a conversation, right? Well, it sure seems that way. The pair look into one another’s eyes. The video has around 15,278,881 views at the time of publishing this article, and it’s easy to see why! Some of the comments are just too cute, too, as viewers wrote down their imagined versions of the conversation the babies were having with each other. “What just happened?” one YouTube user writes. “I don’t know, but it suddenly got really bright!” Unfortunately, the poster, Mike Lasky, has turned comments off, so we can’t find any more of these to share.

The cutest newborn twins

The adorable pair wore matching hats and swaddled in matching blankets as they chat with one another. It’s sweet to imagine the newborn pair’s conversations while still in the womb! No wonder twins have such a strong and undeniable bond. Have a look at Avery and Sophia having an obviously deep chat.

It seems the newborn twins still have that special bond years later!

Avery and Sophia, the newborn babies in the video above, have grown up quite a bit since their 2013 viral video. It’s obvious that they continued to have a lot to talk about! In another video, about a year after they were born, Mike Laskey posted this sweet video of the no-longer newborn babies having a good laugh! Do we wonder what they were chatting about?

A year ago, Mike posted a more recent video of the girls, which shows yet again how twins have the best relationship of all sibling duos. They clearly love doing everything together! We are also sure that these girls have plenty to talk about now that they can actually speak!

So, why do twins have that extra special connection?

Apparently, twins do not have to be identical to share this unique bond. But what makes twins such as newborn babies Avery and Sophia so much closer than regular siblings? Well, according to Maureen Healy, an expert on sensitive children and author of Growing Happy Kids, it’s all because of the time they spent with one another before being born. This often leads to twins feeling like they are one another’s halves.

Twins have a special bond that forms in the womb. Oftentimes, this connection is subconscious — meaning it’s below conscious awareness”

That makes lots of sense to us! We know that not every twin pair may have this bond, but it seems that it’s pretty normal for newborn twins to not want to be apart, and for that desire of closeness to remain for life! What a beautiful bond! Are you a twin? Do you have that special bond with your brother or sister? Let us know in the comments!
